Our latest 5 Minutes With... features our very newest team member, Harry Finch. Joining us with years of experience across creative agencies and in-house brands, he is focused on project and business development for Whiteroom.
To introduce you to our latest team member, we have a five minute interview for you to enjoy as you have your morning coffee...
Describe your job in three words?
Listening, telling and doing!
Tell us about one of the most exciting projects you’ve worked on during your career?
When I worked in Australia and New Zealand, I loved the coffee/brunch culture! Working with a client based in UAE, we designed, built and shipped from New Zealand a fully functioning mobile coffee shop. It was challenging to ensure we considered how operationally the space would work (being so small) and how the local marketing would affect its output, IE the weather (heat!).
Do you have a dream project – personal or work? Tell us about it.
On a personal note, I would love to buy some land and build my dream home which would include a mini farm to push for a more sustainable style of living.
What brands do you think are killing it at retail right now?
Patagonia. Sustainability values and company responsibility is such as big part of who they are and should be admired.
Who would you most like to swap places with for the day?
My wife, to understand how much of a pain I am to live with.
What was your dream job as a kid?
Either a pro footballer or a pro tennis player. I grew up playing both and loved it. There’s still time, right?
What are you currently watching on Netflix?
Power. I’m losing interest though…
Name a brand you couldn’t live without?
Whole Earth because of their peanut butter! Or Nike or Adidas because their football boots have supported me for the 25 odd years, I have been trying to play football.
What’s your party trick?
That I can dance without any control of my body when I’ve had a few drinks.
If you could only have three apps on your phone, which would you pick?
