The Timberland Outdoor Performance Range
The aim of this project was to launch the Timberland outdoor performance range to the trade. The concept needed to have maximum stand-out at the event and clearly show that Timberland are an outdoor performance brand. Customers entering the stand needed to feel welcome and be inspired by the environment. They also needed to be able to engage with the product and gain a clear understanding of the key technologies used throughout Timberland’s product range.
At the heart of the stand — and the concept — was a ‘living tree’, which formed the seating and discussion area. The stand then radiated out from the tree, with technologies and interactive experiences at the front and product categories at the back; surrounded by a large, seamless aspirational wallpaper print.
Education and Engagement
Part of the deck shoe range was the technology story; an anti-slip rubber sole that has been specially developed by the product team at Timberland.
We created easy-to-use product demos. This feature quickly allowed people to experience the benefits of the product in a fun and playful way.
Donating a Tree
True to the brand DNA, the centre focus of the stand was a real tree. Timberland offered this tree in a charity competition at the show.
