Muck Boot Travelling Event Experience

Part of our ongoing support for the European arm of the Muck Boot brand was to create a travelling event experience for summer festivals and RHS garden shows, where they are the main footwear partner and fully endorsed by the RHS. So, the ‘Boot Room’ was born; with strong ties back to the brand heritage in agriculture and equestrian markets, our concept was true to the brand DNA and the perfect ‘showroom on wheels’.

At the festivals and shows, we create more product displays, with technology demonstrations and experience zones, where potential customers can try on the products and experience the benefits for themselves. The event set-up has won multiple awards at the shows and is now set to become a full retail pop-up shop, with more consumer experiences next year.

The Boot Room now travels around several outdoor festivals every year. This grass roots activation has received great attention from festival goers; compelled to grab the latest fashion boot or an everyday pair, ready for the rain.

The Design Ideas

From the start, we wanted to create a warm and welcoming space and experience for Muck Boot customers. We introduced raised garden areas and water features, all mixed with product and technology stories. The whole concept became an 'experience garden'.

Materials And Texture

It was really important for us to use natural materials and props in a way that captured the imagination; including hanging umbrellas, sensory pools and product displays.

Storytelling

We used spades as communication pieces and products in baths of water, with simple, yet effective iconography to communicate the product benefits and technology in a consumer-friendly and playful manner.
